This is where my story starts.
I left USMC with a dream to inspire people.
I came back back to Andrews inspired, and went to work in the oil field to save money for my dream.
I moved to Austin with a dream to do something.
Conceived the idea for Youvolution
Started the entity and started building the Youpak
Hmm.. it's a blur
Bought Novo, 9 acres of land east of Austin
Started the first business model, the Youpak product line. Designed and produced bags, tshirts, journals and quote books.
Began selling them at various locations. Discovered there was not a market for the product and I hated being a salesman.
Moved back to Austin, started exploring filmmaking, and opened a production company in my apartment.
Spent the summer producing for independent filmmakers and collaborating on projects.
Formalized the second business model, and launched the Co-Creating membership for creatives.
Started the year by opening an office on East Riverside.
Defined Youvolution as a filmmaker space, and purchased gear for indie filmmakers to use. Ran the business from the space until the summer.
Outgrew the space on Riverside. Partnered with Impact Haven to open a bigger space in Hyde Park.
Youvolution and Haven partnered to launch The Un.Incubator, supporting creatives and social impact entrepreneurs in their journeys to bring their passion to life.
